The South African Wind Energy Association (SAWEA), in partnership with ENGIE, invites you to an exclusive tour of the Aurora Wind Power Farm in Vredenburg on 12 June 2024. This special event is in celebration of Global Wind Day, observed annually on 15 June.

Join us for an immersive experience at the 94 MW West Coast One wind farm, managed by Aurora Wind Power. This is a unique opportunity to witness firsthand the inner workings of the wind farm and gain insights into the complexities and innovating practices driving South Africa's wind energy sector, including community development initiatives.

Interviews with representatives from SAWEA and ENGIE will be available upon request.

Event Logistics:

NB: Transport from Cape Town to Vredenburg, and back to Cape Town after the event, will be provided.
